What are Face-ups? Face-ups are simply ‘make-up’ or make-overs for dolls. One of the most popular recipients for this application are BJD’s (ball jointed dolls) which are usually cast in polyurethane synthetic resin.  Paints and pastels are generally used to redo an existing face-up or bring to life a blank face directly from the manufacturer.
